I have a confession to make:
I haven’t posted to my blog in about 9 months!
Why? Not really sure. I run eMarketing and social media conferences around the nation, touting the importance of social media, but I don’t blog frequently.
Marketing is all about connecting with new people…getting people to know, like and trust you. And as an entrepreneur and business man, I need to do whatever I can to build more relationships. However, my target market is continuing education and contract training professionals, who for the most part are not using social networks and participating in blogs.
This isn’t an excuse though. As JR told me yesterday, I need to improve my SEO rankings. And what is one of the most powerful techniques to do that? Blogging… Frequently.
And thus I will blog. Thanks to my accountabilibuddy.
