For his senior project, Brad worked with a multi-disciplined team on a project in robotic surgery with Intuitive Surgical, the market leader in operative surgical robotics. Last year, the University of Cincinnati granted full licensing rights to Mr. Kleinman’s project team for the intellectual property involved with their concept for implementing real-time haptic feedback into robotic surgery. Mr. Kleinman graduated magna cum laude with distinguished honors in 2004.

In May 2004, Mr. Kleinman formed BSK Consulting, a small business dedicated to “helping starting businesses start.” The business focuses on aiding startup companies with business planning, website development, and corporate branding. Practically all of his web development and marketing knowledge was self-taught. With a marketing program based solely on referrals, he developed relationships with clients as far as the west coast and has since converted his business to a limited liability corporation.

While building his business, Mr. Kleinman came back to his hometown of Cleveland, to begin his graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University. During his time at Case, he and five fellow students formed Lake Effect Innovation LLC, an entrepreneurial venture that encompasses the use of innovation, technology, and business management skills to provide low cost consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises. The company continues to operate, maintaining contracts with Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Kleinman currently serves as a member of its Board of Advisors.

In May 2005, he graduated with a Masters of Engineering and Management, leveraging his technical background with formal business and entrepreneurial training.

After graduating from Case, Mr. Kleinman decided to work for his business full-time on several exciting entrepreneurial projects.  Access a small list of Brad’s clients here: http://bskconsulting.com/clients-2.

  • eHighSchoolTickets.com LLC. Mr. Kleinman works full-time on this entrepreneurial venture which enables students and parents to buy tickets online for high school events. Currently, students and parents can only pay for sporting events, plays, and dances with cash or check, which can get lost or stolen. eHighSchoolTickets.com is a highly secure e-commerce website that is a free service for students, parents, and schools. Transaction costs, barcode scanning equipment, and information technology expenses are all paid for through an innovative advertising revenue model. Local and national companies can advertise both on the website and on the ‘print-at-home’ tickets themselves. Therefore, students and parents can get access to exclusive discounts and promotions from companies they already buy from, like dress and tuxedo shops, limousine companies, and flower shops. Additionally, eHighSchoolTickets takes at least 10% of their top-line revenue and donates the money to participating schools each year. Beachwood High School, Mr. Kleinman’s first client (and alma mater) signed up in December 2005. They will be selling tickets for five major events until the end of the school year, and are extremely excited about the program. The parent company – eHighSchool – plans to launch several products over the next few years, all incorporating state-of-the-art information technology while providing a revenue stream to high schools through advertising. Mr. Kleinman currently serves as CEO for eHighSchool and its subsidiaries.
